Richard Elliot

I love all kinds of music opera, big band, pop music from the 50’s and Broadway tunes from across the decades.

My Love of Music began in Jr. High where at age 12, I played the lead in all 3 of our Jr. High Productions. This included Oliver in Fagin, The Prince in The Songbird and a China-man in Rough & Ready, a cowboy musical!

In local theater, I performed in Kismet and Guys & Dolls. Awards include wins at Constitution Hall and vocal soloist non-classical in the Metro Talent Competitions!

During the 35 years singing as a cabaret singer; I studied 13 years with the 1st Tenor, Daniel Moore, on a full Scholarship at Peabody Conservatory. I was considered a heldontenor, meaning, “a tenor having a powerful voice suited to singing heroic roles.”

I love all kinds of music opera, big band, pop music from the 50’s and Broadway tunes from across the decades. My extensive collection of Vinyl and Sheet Music contributes to the depth of the Cabaret Performances appreciated by those who Love the Great American songbook and more.
